We spent a lot of time deciding what we did (and didn't) need to bring on our hike. Some gear ended up being great, and some didn't stand up to the conditions the GPT could throw at it. Our gear reviews and packing lists are here.

 

Oh, and it's worth mentioning that we didn't have any gear sponsorships. Our reviews are all of stuff we bought with our own money. Not that we'd pass up the chance for some trial gear in future, though...
